Second chances: adventures beyond the shelter

You never know what adventures might happen beyond the shelter.

These dogs and cats have been given a second chance.

Maybe they’ll become a wizard or a mermaid.

Maybe they’ll help the mailman with his daily deliveries.

Or maybe they’re on their way to finding a new best friend.

Whatever it may be, we’re excited to share these stories with the world!

Awaiting Adventures

We have many animals awaiting adventures beyond the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter.

80% of earnings from the print collective will be donated to the Friends of the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter. The other 20% will be used to fund publication costs.

Kayla King and Justin Maher, best friends who are writers and editors, are thrilled to collaborate on another project.

Kayla King is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief.

In April 2023, she adopted, Pip, from the Friends of the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, and now he is her shadow.

Justin Maher is the Co-Founder and Editor.

Though Boots resides at his parents’ home, Justin loves reuniting with this feline friend whenever he visits.
